Divination
Tarot cards are a potent tool for self-reflection, insight, and spiritual exploration.
One of the first references to the tarot was in 15th century renaissance Italy. Starting as a card game, it was only later that they evolved into a system used for divination and inner guidance.
A tarot deck contains 78 cards; 22 Major Arcana cards, which represents significant life themes, and 56 Minor Arcana, which deal with everyday experiences. The Minor Arcana mirrors the four suits of a deck of playing cards.
Each card (especially the Major Arcana cards) uses archetypal imagery, symbolism and layered meanings that can offer clarity, encouragement, or challenge when drawn in a reading.
Tarot cards are definitely not evil or dangerous. They are not designed to summon spirits or commune with the dead. The cards are based on images and situations that all humans can relate to.
They are a universal language that we all understand on some level. When we bring our intuition together with these powerful archetypes, magical insights can happen!
Whether used for personal insight, creative inspiration, or connecting with intuition, tarot invites a deeper conversation with the self and reflects unseen energies that influence our lives.
